A rare entry into my xanga diary...but a funny story deems an entry:

Yesterday I was on campus (yes, I am on campus again, which is weird), and I overheard a girl on the phone. She was talking about how she didn't want to do a crash diet, but she did want to watch what she eats. So the other day, she went to chick-fil-a and grabbed chicken nuggets for dinner. Instead of getting fries with the nuggets, she remembered her diet and took them home and had easy-mac with them instead. That is her diet.

It's Been a While

It's been a while since I've posted. And for the Xanga re-entry, I've decided on this lovely game of tag, since everyone loves it. Yeah.

Tag!
The Rules:
1. I have to post these rules before I give you the facts.
2. Each player starts with eight random facts/habits about themselves.
3. People who are tagged need to write their own blog (about their eight things) and post these rules.
4. At the end of your blog, you need to choose eight people to get tagged and list their names.
5. Don’t forget to leave them a comment telling them they’re tagged, and to read your blog

1. I am not really sure what my hobbies are. When I have to put down "hobbies" anywhere, I write things like "reading" and "cooking" even though I hardly ever cook (but I enjoy it when I do) and I don't read as often as I'd like.

2. I eat almost anything, and I usually clean my plate, even if I'm not that hungry or don't like the food. I will not, however, eat bananas, and I've gone to extreme circumstances to avoid eating them.

3. Once in 8th grade, a girl told me the outfit I was wearing made me look like Audrey Hepburn, and I was really insulted (enough so that I remember it to this day) because I knew she was deceased. Now I'd love for someone to tell me I look like Audrey.

4. My sister and I had a lot of dolls and stuffed animals when we were little, but we never played "dramaticly" with them. For instance, we'd spend hours dressing our Barbie dolls or American girl dolls, then we'd set up their houses or play areas, but we'd never get to the acting out part where Molly would go knock on Samantha's door and invite her to a tea party or whatever.

5. I hate playing Monopoly. I always tell my little cousins that I don't know how to play Monopoly, Jr.  and they'll have to wait until their dad gets home.

6. I have the bad habit of avoiding making phone calls. I'll put on my "to do" list "call so and so" and it usually stays on the list for several days before I actually do it. It's not that I don't want to talk to the person, but it's just the actual calling.

7. I, like MayFray, don't like milk. I do use it in my cereal, but I don't like soggy cereal. Frosted Mini Wheats are one of my most-frequently-eaten cereals, but I pour a little bowl of milk, then I take the mini wheats out of the bag one a time and dip them into the bowl, instead of pouring milk on top of them.

8. If someone says a phrase that reminds me of a song, then I usually sing part of the song--out loud or in my head, depending on how well I know those around me. This isn't the most exciting habit, but it's #8, and I've spend enough time on the list...

If you feel like joining the fun, I tag lsmith3nd and sokolover, because I don't know many people who still use xanga. :)

Christmas Vacation. Miracle on 24th Street. It's a Wonderful Life. Home Alone. I'll watch any of the above. As for the music of the season, I'm listening year round. Oops. My classroom lesson this week? A song cloze (sorry I can't actually play the song for you guys; I just filled in the blanks for you):

All is Well

All is _well__, all is _well__.

Angels and __men_ rejoice.

For tonight darkness fell

Into the dawn of love’s _light___

Sing halle, sing hallelujah.

All is _well_, all is _well_.

Let there be _peace_ on earth.

Christ is come. __Go_ and tell

That he is in the manger.

Sing halle, _sing_ hallelujah.

All is _well_, all is _well___.

Lift up your voice and _sing__.

Born is now Emmanuel.

_Born_ is our Lord and Savior.

Sing hallelujah.

_Sing_ hallelujah.

All is _well_.

Born is now Emmanuel.

_Born__ is our Lord and Savior.

Sing hallelujah.

_Sing___ hallelujah.

All is _well__.
